I'm Alice, a UX designer
based in Munich with a background
in arts and culture management.
I have a strong aesthetic understanding and the ability to present complex information in an understandable and engaging way.
I switched to UX design to transfer my communication skills into functional solutions and to develop products.
As half French, half German since I was a child I acted mediating and building bridges between different cultures and systems. And still today is all about communication and connection.
My interest in the well- being of other people inspires me to find meaningful solutions. My doing is based on the premise of making the world a little bit better and simpler - and that people enjoy using digital interfaces. - Smart solutions make products attractive and this is how I help a company to benefit.
I'm looking for a position in UX design where I can explore innovative solutions for the digital experience of the arts and culture sector. Thanks to my curiosity and willingness to learn, I am also open to other industries.

Bonjour Deutschland!
Media, I'm coming!
More abstract please!
One night with Andy Warhol.
Hello unpredicta-bility.
Follow curiosity.
From the abstract to the concrete.
My craft.

Through observing my French Mum's behavior in her adopted homeland I adapt building bridges and connecting cultures and systems.
From film post production, editing talk shows and producing video reports of Truck Racing I land my first permanent job as Junior Product Manager at a music major label. I learn to develop concepts and how to successfully market them.
My longing for more complexity drives me to study art history. I develop a deep understanding of aesthetics, visual communication and historical contexts. In my master's thesis I reveal previously undiscovered connections.
I'm starting a job at a well-known international art gallery and assisting the director in selling bluechip art. I am refining my ability to empathize with customers and to think strategically. As a strong communicator, I take on the representative part of the gallery and look after customers and artists.
I'm going to probably the toughest school in my life. I am becoming a mother and therefore a specialist in chaos management, mediation, organizing and coordinating. My empathy skills are growing to the maximum.
I reflect on the fascinating lifework of an abstract artist of gigantic prints. I move on and dig in the exploration of the communicative potential of printmaking.
I swap the complexity of art for complex projects. Creative working methods are now taking the place of creative content in an office for Concept Development and Project Management. In an agile start-up atmosphere, I develop processes and structures for the growing team and the meeting groups. My goal is a good and consistent work flow and easing up on peaks of responsibility.
Corona challenges me to think further and I find the answer in UX design. UX provides the right craft and tools for my skills. Here I can bring in my previous experiences and develop holistic concepts. Here I can translate these mental concepts into digital, visually appealing interfaces. What could I want more? ☺︎
